Ezio Auditore Is SoulCalibur V’s Guest Character

I’m sure that the question many people were asking was not “Will there be a guest character?,” but “Who will be the guest character(s)?” SoulCalibur II, SoulCalibur IV, SoulCalibur Legends and SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny all had guest characters. This time, Ezio is joining the ranks of Kratos, Link, Spawn, Starkiller, among others.

Here’s a video showcasing some of Ezio’s attacks and combos. He gets a crossbow, a longsword, a stiletto, a hidden gun, and his signature bladed gauntlets.

So then, my biggest hope is that I’ll get to use his style in the character creator. Oh, I will be so pissed if I don’t. I was disappointed when I couldn’t make my own Sith and Jedi in SoulCalibur IV (although secretly pleased that at the same time, fanboys of the series were trolled by this as well).

You’ll get to kick ass with Ezio on January 31st, 2012 (the game’s release date).
